When you get pulled into a million different directions and trying to get stuff done, I want to encourage you to really look at the story you tell yourself around distractions. Do you let the distractions take you off course or do you use them to empower you to keep going? Distractions don’t have to be distractions.
When we understand and believe that we are responsible for our mindset, our energy, our focus and our direction, it takes our self-mastery to a whole new level.
Some things to consider if you need to get stuff done and are under a time limit:
*Don’t make excuses, hold yourself accountable to it – what is your story about distractions?
*Know your priorities
*Outsource where you can
*Say No if you must
*When a distraction comes in, go through the “what if’s”
*Allow distractions for the end of the day (social media, etc), creating new habits
*Clean Slate each morning when you wake
*Each day Re-evaluate your list of priorities everyday
