We are slightly past the midpoint of the calendar year and ready for the eclipse tomorrow. The eclipse is a time to for us to reflect and look at where our light shines in our life and invites us to look at if our results are matching our deepest desires and also to take a deep conscious look at our shadow side. The shadow is the part of you that remains unknown, yet influences every part of your life. The shadow isn’t bad, it’s just hidden, and since it’s hidden, it runs around like a child with no supervision and if it goes unconscious it can cause havoc and suffering in your life.
I’m encouraging you to join me through this time to ponder, re-focus, and gain insight on your life. At the beginning of 2017, did you join me in choosing a word or phrase for your life and where are you with that. As I shared with each of you mine was this year I was claiming to not let anyone dim my light, I gave myself that grace to shine. As I tune in and look over if I am in alignment with the intentions I set in January, I invite you to do the same. And while I felt my claim holds personal significance, I also felt it was a statement for the collective . . . a statement that reflects a new level of feminine emergence, a calling for us to rise above our fears and everyday struggles and to live in alignment with our vision by shining our light and not dimming it for anyone or any situation.
Leaving you this today, and it’s bittersweet as I say goodbye, yet excited for the doors opening and new opportunities in the horizon:
Look back and thank God,
Look forward and trust God,
Look around and serve God,
Look within and find God.
