Today in my prayer time I received words, and then to pull up my email and again, see that God is speaking to me through Joel, so I will share that message too.
Today, the message I received was around patience, perseverance and faith. Sometimes what is needed is to wait on things, because there are some unfinished things that God is working on. This means patience (which is not a strength of mine) and perseverance, and definitely requires faith. When we are planting a new harvest, we have to sow the dirt. We have to really dig it up to get the dirt filled with the right nutrients and make sure it’s hydrated and ready for the crop. If we plant when the dirt is hard and isn’t ready, it will show in the fruit that we bear.
I do tend to get ahead of myself and others sometimes because I am a ‘do-er’. You know the type, roll your sleeves up and get shit done. Yea, sometimes that works incredibly well and I have much success to show in my life for that kind of action. This year for me has been so much about patience and faith that I can’t even begin to share all of the examples and stories about where God has taken me.
So, chances are if you are STILL reading this, the message of some sort is intended for YOU too. God is asking you to trust in Him and also know that the plan for your life is divine and you have to build and grow the faith, and patience is one of the nutrients for the plan.
After my meditation I reflected a bit and still have some big questions inside, and that’s ok, that is part of faith right? But then I pulled up my email and saw yet again, my brother Joel Osteen’s message was similar to mine. I love when this happens, and when it does I like to share it as well. So below I am sharing it as it fed my soul.
And I was recently asked if I get perks for sharing Joel’s stuff, and I laughed, and said I wish because I do share his stuff a lot and actually going against how I have been coached for my biz. So the answer is no. I genuinely want to encourage and inspire what lights me up and gets me chasing God and my truth with all of you. That, to me, does look different than just going to Church every Sunday. I have finally fully accepted myself, that I don’t ‘fit in’ to your ‘typical’ spiritual minister or teacher, and I trust that you vibe with me or you wouldn’t be reading this (LOL).
So now I am inviting you into my world, and it’s unique to say the least but I hope my space offers YOU a space in your life to be YOU and fill you with the energy of light needed for this human journey. May the words in my blog, website, and my social media pages help you in your walk of discovering your purpose, your light, your truth.
Grow Your Faith
By Joel Osteen
Scripture tells us that every person has been given a measure of faith. Faith can grow and increase, or it can be diminished. Notice today’s scripture doesn’t say, “Faith comes by having heard the Word of God one time.” It’s by hearing—present tense. Sure, God’s Word can transform us in an instant. But most of the time, we need to hear God’s truth over and over again in order for it to become active in our lives. The more we hear the Word, the more His truth chisels away at the doubt and unbelief that’s been built up over the years. His truth sets us free and causes our faith to grow!
Just as a seed needs water daily to grow, your spirit needs the Word of God daily. Your faith needs to be watered by His Word. It can be as simple as selecting a few scriptures to meditate on daily. Write them down and carry them in your purse or wallet. Read them out loud over and over. Let His truth sink down into your heart and move you forward into the freedom and victory He has prepared for you!
♥ I’m happy to be on this journey with you! RE-member, that YOU are PERFECT just as God created you! ♥
